	The involvement of every Soroptimist member worldwide, working together, will help us achieve our goals for Project SIerra: A Family and A Future. By raising funds for and awareness of the plight of these women and childen, you will be helping to put them on the road to independence. From cake sales, quiz nights to a Sierra Leonean themed dinner party, there are many ways you can support Project SIerra. These pages are designed to help you on your way. They are split into two sections to help you find the information you need quickly: Resources – information and supporting promotional materials to support you with your awareness raising and fundraising activities. Fundraising and Advocacy Ideas – many of these are inspired by what Soroptimists are doing worldwide right now to support Project SIerra.

	Why not become an Ambassador? If you are a Soroptimist International member, you can help spread the word about Project SIerra even further. As an Ambassador, you will help by raising awareness about the project among other Soroptimist clubs and outside groups. £10* could provide a family with seeds and tools to grow their own food

£25 could provide a baby care pack

£100 could feed two families for a month

£250 could help a mother to start her own small business enterprise

£500 could renovate a family’s home, providing shelter and stability

£2,500 could pay 30 children’s medical costs for a year

(* £1 is approximately equivalent to $2 USD)
